Lockcitan
BeBranded supports Lockcitan in their booking process with Make automation
For the Lockcitan project, carried out as a subcontract for the Gataka agency, we were involved in opening a luggage locker with an innovative access system. The end customer, Lockcitan, wanted to enable its users to access the locker via an external door equipped with a Nuki.io connected lock. The main objective was to create a fast and simple solution to offer the best possible service.
We had to automate the sending of access codes to the locker door, so that customers would receive these codes by email and SMS (via Twilio) within a minute of making their reservation. One of the major technical challenges of this project was to integrate Make.com with the existing solution, as the reservations management plugin only offered a paid integration with Zapier. To get around this problem, we used an emailhook via Make.com, which saved us additional costs while maintaining the system's efficiency.
The process put in place enabled the reservation system to be connected to the Nuki.io lock in a fully automated way. As soon as a reservation is made, the owner receives an email from the reservation system, automatically redirected to an emailhook configured on Make.com. A text parser is used to extract all the necessary booking data, which we then store in a Google Sheet for optimal organization. We then make an API call to create a unique access code on the Nuki.io connected lock for each customer. To conclude the process, an email and SMS are sent instantly to the locker customer to provide them with their personalized access code, guaranteeing a smooth and efficient user experience.
